The simulator is focused on operational parameters of a small scale off-grid PV system by means of simulation of its behaviour. The system consists of an array of PV modules, DC-DC converter, battery and a load whose characteristics are modeled. Any user can change input parameters (i.e. parameters of each system component and operational parameters) and see how the output parameters (i.e. circuit quantities) are changed. Control of the system parameters is allowed by means of a "Simulator front panel" which provides remote access the simulator interface.
Sampled Value Analyser is tool designed for visualisation and verification of sampled values transmitted by merging unit using protocol defined in standard IEC 61850-9-2. The main task of the program is to verify whether the data transmitted over the Ethernet meet the requirements of the standard. The program allows decode data from Ethernet frames and visualize measured values in the chart. Decoded data can also be exported in text or sent into LabVIEW for further processing. The program works with arbitrary configuration of merge units, the number of measured values at one time or other parameters such as sample frequency are not restricted.
