Description

Development, implementation and commissioning of a set of switchboards for a specialized test system. The purpose of the test system is to create an low voltage (LV) artificial system (AS), enabling the simulation of selected events at the output voltage (in the AS), separately from the public LV distribution network (DS), to test the behavior and response of inverter based generation modules (VM) , but also more complex local energy management (EM) systems in combination with battery energy storage system (BESS) and loads. The test system is assumed to be stationary with laboratory testing and limited portability. The test system is primarily intended for 1-phase or 3-phase photovoltaic VMs of category A1 with a rated power per phase of 3.7 kW and 3.7 kVA and thus a nominal three-phase power of 11 kW and 11 kVA, with a rated voltage of 230 V 50 Hz , resp. 3x230 / 400 V 50 Hz. The AC connection is then three-, four-, or five-wire. The power supplied by the VM to the AS must be consumed, regenerated to the DS as required. From the BESS principle, they can and will also work in the charging mode, ie with consumption from the AS, with an expected input of max. 3.7 kW / kVA per phase, or 11 kW / kVA in three phases, which, if not covered by possible current VM production, must be delivered from DS. Consumption in the AS can also be represented by sets of controlled and uncontrolled loads that are needed for testing purposes or are part of the tested complex EM. The considered unit power input of individual loads that can be connected to the AS is also 3.7 kW / kVA per phase, or 11 kW / kVA three-phase. It is assumed that the unit power / input of all components of the test system at the AS interface will be limited to 3.7 kW / kVA per phase, res. 11 kW / kVA in three phases, specifically to the corresponding nominal phase current of 16 A.
